Pramila Srinivasan, PhD, is C.E.O. and founder of MedicalMine Inc. She received her doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, U.S.A. Her specialty included algorithms for multimedia data analysis and classification. In 2007 she founded MedicalMine Inc. to apply cutting edge technological advances to facilitate data analysis and efficient management of medical treatment. 'charmhealth.com' hosts ChARM EHR and ChARM PHR, the products of MedicalMine Inc. Research into treatments for multi-factorial chronic conditions is still a work in progress, and her goal is to present state-of-the-art tools and visualization to help generate hypothesis and support research, simultaneously supporting the clinical needs of physicians and patients who need multi-modal treatment tracking, monitoring and interaction with caregivers.
Dr. Balachander Govindarajan is an alumnus of Madras Medical College, Chennai, India, who pursued Cardiology specialization in America. His super specialization in the field of Cardiac Electrophysiology while in the USA, exposed him to cutting edge medical software as well as hardware and they became his keen interest. He eventually returned to India after 20 years of training and practice in the USA, to contribute to the change in the healthcare scenario at home. In a shared goal with an IT major, he is engaged in pursuing the path of innovative engagement in clinical healthcare, medical software and hardware technology from Chennai, India.
